Podcast Resources

I listen to a lot of very wise men via podcast. I'll put a few links up here for your use. Remember, test all teaching, and do your own reading, as well. Someone else can teach you, but they can't be your faith. I think all of these are up on iTunes, as well, but these links will take you to their church so you can read up about the men and women who are preaching.

The Village Church in the Dallas/Fort Worth area
Pastor Matt Chandler and his staff have impacted how I follow God. Pastor Chandler was the first pastor I regularly downloaded and listened to via podcast. His passion inspired me to dig deeper. His "Dwell Deep" men's Bible study is a quick crash course that covers a ton of ground.

Apostles Church in New York City
JR Vassar is a brilliant pastor. There is a power behind every sermon he preaches. I have learned so much from this man. He has so much knowledge, and mixes humor and grace into his preaching so well.

The Journey in St. Louis
Darrin Patrick is another one of these Acts 29 pastors that I admire. He gave a sermon this past summer called "Giving Your Summer to God" that came at the perfect time for me. I really enjoy his style.

Mars Hill in Seattle
Mark Driscoll has come a long way over the years. He and his wife are really doing some fantastic things when it comes to marriage ministry. He has moments of tenderness, but he's a MMA fan, and you can tell it in his preaching style. He will give people a verbal pounding when they need it. Awesome preacher.

Coral Ridge Church in Fort Lauderdale
Tullian Tchividjian wrote a book called Jesus + Nothing = Everything that I've heard is really good (It's on my list of books to buy). I've heard him give a sermon by this same title, so I'm assuming that some material may have overlapped. He's a passionate man that understands that all we really need is Jesus.

Cornerstone Church in Simi Valley, California
Most people may have know this as the church that Francis Chan used to pastor. The staff that's currently there is also very gifted. Todd Nighswonger is a phenomenal preacher and teacher.

There are a lot of other really good resources out there. I haven't even touched on some of the blogs out there, or books, or following these guys on Twitter, or Ravi Zacharias' podcast, which makes me feel so incredibly childish every time I listen to him teach (in a good way.)

Hopefully some of these resources can be of use for you as you dig deeper.
